Lorraine is a native of New Jersey and has always been involved with horses. Before working for East Coast Equine Veterinary Service she was employed with Tranquility Large Animal Veterinary Service for 25 years. When not working, she had shown hunters and jumpers, galloped race horses, and re-schooled retired race horses for the show ring. Lorraine was also briefly involved with breeding thoroughbreds and successfully produced a Jersey Bred Stakes winner. After dabbling with the thoroughbreds, she kept one of her own bred fillies and tried her hand at breeding Selle Français sport horses. During her time spent breeding Selle Française sport horses, she produced one of a very few U.S. bred stallions that was approved by the French National Stud.
In her spare time, Lorraine enjoys riding, spending time with her “rescue” dogs, and simply being in her barn.
